After travel softball Alyssa received her athletic scholarship from Calumet College of St. Joseph where she went on to achieve the following accolades. Four year starter/pitcher, two time all-conference honors, team captain, several nominations for pitcher of the week, and just recently named to the school's All Decade Team! After college Alyssa went on to begin to coach some high school ball as well as travel softball. She has also found time to assist with camps at GenuWIN Sports Training in Romeoville, Illinois. Today Alyssa continues to play on one of our women's recreational fastpitch teams in her down time. We are happy to have her passion, leadership and spirit as we move forward with our program.
Assistant Coach - Kelly Gagen
Kelly has been involved in coaching various levels fastpitch softball since 2005. She has spent most of that time staying involved in her community by assisting with camps and organizing clinics for young girls with a passion to play fastpitch softball. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in special education. Kelly has received an excellence in teaching award in 2012 for her passionate and dedicated work. We are excited to have someone with her work ethic in our organization.
Assistant Coach - Madalyn Rawski
Madalyn currently attends Lewis University where she is pursuing a teaching degree. She has never stopped playing fastpitch softball since a very young age. Besides receiving academic honors throughout her school years, she was part of the state champion Montini Broncos of Lombard, Illinois 2017-2018 softball team. Not many ever get the opportunity to experience that kind of storybook run, but she was right in the thick of it. Madalyn certainly understands what it takes to play the game competitively. This is now her second year as an assistant coach for this team and we are hoping she will continue in the long term future.
